Animation Mentor

Along with pursuing my degree at AI-Tampa. I"m also taking classes at AnimationMentor.com, and I have to say that i'm enjoying Animation Mentor a whole lot better then AI...but while i'm attending i'm going to try and post work from Animation Mentor so that fam and friends can enjoy a brotha's progress!!!

Right now i'm in the Maya Springboard class and I gotta say i've learned more in these few weeks then i did at AI-Tampa.

got a couple of drawing i'll be posting. Then over the winter break i'll really get that pencil to the paper.

1. Sketch Layout

This is usually my first step when i come up with an idea. A rough sketch just to get my idea on paper.

2. Layout & Detail

This is what my drawings usually look like before i ink it and clean it up.
This is also where i'll work out any details that i want to include

3. Finish Ink & Clean-Up

My touch up and clean-up process is simple just go over my main lines that I put down during step 2 and try to stay as crisp with the lines as i can.

4. Finish Ink & Color

Finish product i've been messing around with coloring within the Photoshop program.
